What does fostering involve?
As a foster, you provide a temporary, loving home for a dog or cat that isn't ready for the shelter or is waiting for adoption. You'll offer food, shelter, affection, and a safe place to heal and grow. PALS is here to support you every step of the way.
PALS Rescue began in 2002 as a network of foster homes — so fostering isn't just something we do, it's how this rescue started.

As a foster, you provide a temporary home for a rescue dog or cat — offering food, shelter, and love while they wait for adoption or recover before joining our shelter. PALS Rescue supports you throughout the process.
It varies by animal and situation. Some foster stays last just a few days, while others last several weeks or months until the pet is adopted. We'll always be upfront about what to expect before you say yes.
